Importing the CA Root Certificate into Internet Explorer

  1. Click on 'Root Certificate'
  2. You will see a window similar to the following. Select Open.

  3. Some computers will give you the following screen. Select Allow. If you don't see this screen, just proceed with the next step

  4. Here we see the certificate. Click the Details tab

  5. Check the thumbprint of the certificate. It should match the following:

  6. When you are satisfied with the details, return to the General tab and click "Install Certificate"

  7. This will start the certificate import wizard. Click Next

  8. Select "Place all certificates in the following store" and click "Browse"

  9. Select "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" and click "OK" then "Next"

  10. At the final screen, click "Finish"
